Gym-Play

Early walkers and toddlers will build balance, strength, coordination, and motor skills as they climb, slide, jump, and roll during equipment play activities.  This parent-assisted class incorporates instructor guided ”structured“ activities as well as free exploration time.


”Preschool Gymnastics“

This class is designed with the general nature of preschoolers in mind - imaginative, impulsive, and eager to learn and explore! In a fun, safe and educational manner, this class pairs instruction of fundamental gymnastics skills with activities designed to enhance developmentally appropriate cognitive and social skills.




Competitive Teams

Got the competitive ”bug“ – for many of us, it’s contagious! The more you do it, the more you want to challenge yourself to do it better and have the opportunity to show others what you’ve learned. Now you can compete with the Zone Twisters Competitive Power Tumbling, Gymnastics and Cheer teams ! We have opportunities for beginners to seasoned athletes with various time commitments involved. Talk with Coach Julie for direction in finding the right fit for you.


Recreational TnT

“Tumbling ‘n Trampoline” are so inherently FUN they disguise the amount of energy being used! Skills taught will range from basic rolls to round-offs and handspring drills (tumbling) and from body positions to somersaults (trampoline). Emphasis is placed on correct form and safety.


TnT participants will learn basic to advanced skills in a progressive manner on competitive power tumbling equipment – euro trampoline with spotting harness, double-mini trampoline, and rod floor. Participants will be evaluated and placed into groups according to their age and ability. Skills taught will range from basic rolls to handsprings (tumbling) and from body positions to somersaults (trampoline/double-mini). Emphasis is placed on correct form and safety.




”BOYS’ Recreational Gymnastics“

A great way to channel their energy and develop incredible body strength, control and flexibility!  With an emphasis on correct form and safety, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of men’s gymnastics and progressively learn basic to advanced skills on the floor, trampoline, high bar, rings, vault, and parallel bars.


”GIRLS’ Recreational Gymnastics“

Fitness Fun!  Gymnastics is a great sport for all ages and abilities and provides a wonderful opportunity to develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and self-control.  Participants will be introduced to gymnastics and progressively learn basic to advanced skills on the floor, uneven bars, beam, vault and trampoline, in addition to activities for development of general physical fitness.




Advanced Tumbling

Excellent opportunity to develop and fine tune more advanced tumbling skills! Participants will polish up their back handsprings and increase their tumbling repertoire to include back handspring series, standing “flips”, and aerial finales. Prerequisite: Round-off Back Handspring.


 Back Handspring ”Basic Training“

The back handspring is the most sought after skill in tumbling! After learning fundamental tumbling techniques and preparatory back handspring skills, participants will polish up their back handsprings and increase their tumbling repertoire to include back handspring series, standing ”flips“ and aerial finales.




Strength, Speed & Agility Training

Whether you are in training for a particular sport, or just want to improve your general fitness level, this is the class for you! Participants will increase muscle strength and endurance through resistance training utilizing free weights, exercise tubing, medicine balls and body weight exercises.
