Join us for lots of exciting opportunities for a fun-filled summer at Youth Fitness Zone! All camps are Monday-Friday from 1:00-4:00pm and include theme related activities and/or experiments, as well as snack time. Please note age groups designated for each camp. Cost is $75 per week. With the exception of Wk 5 which is a 4 day camp and costs $60. Siblings receive a 10% discount. A $25 non-refundable deposit (per camp/camper) is required at the time of enrollment. WEEK 1 - WILD WORLD OF SPORTS June 6th - 10th (Ages 4-12 yrs)
Put on your game face and come experience wild sports excitement. Gear up for a little friendly competition in a wide variety of sports venues, from "everyday" to "extreme". If you are an ultimate athlete or super sports fanatic, this one's for you!
You're in the army now . . . with Drill Instructor Adam! But Captain Julie will be on hand to keep it FUN! All cadets will be assigned to a unit to practice drills and compete in team challenges. Each team will earn points by competing in fitness challenges, obstacle courses, relay races, and cooperative games. We want you to join the YFZ Army!
WEEK 3 - IN A MINUTE! June 20-24th (K-6th grade)
You've seen the show, "Minute to Win It" . . . now experience it -- ZONE STYLE! Come test your physical and mental skills in ways you've never imagined with individual, partner, and group challenges. We'll give you a minute to show us you have what it takes to win it!
WEEK 4 - AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS June 27th - July 1st (K-6th grade)
Around the World in 80 Days . . . well, make that 5 days -- it's a speed trip! Go on an exciting adventure with us as we discover cultures as amazing as ours! Each day we'll "visit" a new country and learn about the food they eat, the music they listen to, and the things they make. But it wouldn't be a "Zone Camp" if we didn't find out what games they play!
WEEK 5 - ANYTHING GOES! July 5-8th (K-6th Grade) (This is a special 4 day camp and the fee is $60)
Are you ready for a surprise? We're bringing back mini-versions of past theme favorites in this special 4 day camp week. But you'll have to join us to find out which ones!
WEEK 6 - MYSTERIES OF MOVIE-MAKING July 11-15th (1st - 6th grade)
Lights, Camera, Action! Come discover some of the mysteries of movie-making as we find out how movies bring fantasy to life with science and special effects. We'll explore tricks of the trade like how to create hair-raising sound effects and how movie crews control insects, show us feats of superhuman strength, make actors fly, and much more! Campers will incorporate this new-found knowledge into a "production" of their own making!
WEEK 7 - ZONE OLYMPICS July 18th-22nd (4-12 yrs)
It's time for our annual Zone Olympics! Come train like an Olympic athlete in our special Zone events (trampoline, double-mini, bars, rings, beam, and floor) and prepare for a grand Olympic Exhibition on the final day of camp!
WEEK 8 - "IN A MINUTE" - PART 2 July 25-29th (K-6th grade)
We had too many ideas and challenges to fit into one week! So whether you're a repeat contestant or joining us for the first time, we know you'll love spending your minutes with us in the "Minute to Win It" Zone Style Challenge - Part 2!
Week 9 - CARNIVAL FUN Aug. 1st - 5th (3-12 yrs)
Step right up, don't be shy - everyone's a winner at our annual carnival extravaganza! Join us on the midway for games, food and prizes. Challenge yourself in exciting tests of skill. Hurry, hurry, hurry, tickets are going fast!
Week 10 - "BRING IT ON" CHEER CHAMP Aug. 8-12th (K-7th grade)
Join us for a lot of spirit and fun! Enjoy daily spirit challenges as you practice cheerleading skills (motions, jumps, chants, cheers, and tumbling). Get creative with your "mini squad" to make up dances and cheers and be ready to "strut your stuff" in a little friendly "Spirit Show-Off" competition at week's end!
